About me
Snikitha Siddavatam is a Computer Science and Data Science student at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, expected to graduate in May 2027, with coursework spanning machine learning, artificial intelligence, distributed systems, data visualization, and advanced algorithms. Snikitha has built her experience across industry and open-source contexts. She currently holds two concurrent roles: an AI and Data Systems Internship at Layered AI, where she engineers agentic AI systems including end-to-end Retrieval-Augmented Generation pipelines, and an Open Source Internship at UW-Madison's Open Source Program Office under the mentorship of Dr. Tsung-Wei Huang, where she contributes to Taskflow, a C++ parallel programming library, focusing on concurrency correctness and scheduler nondeterminism. Snikitha is also a recognized competitive programmer, having qualified for the International Olympiad in Informatics Training Camp for two consecutive years - securing a top-six national ranking both times - and earning a Gold Medal at the ICPC Algo Queen Programming Cup in 2023. Her project work reflects her breadth: she designed ARES, a multi-agent autonomous air traffic control system featuring real-time conflict detection, 3D airspace visualization, and integrated Claude AI for coordinated agent reasoning. She has been selected for competitive programs including the Jane Street First-Year Trading and Technology Program and the MongoDB Women in Computer Science Summit. Snikitha brings proficiency in a wide range of languages and frameworks, including Python, C++, Java, React, and PyTorch, with core competencies in distributed systems, data engineering, and test-driven development.
